AN ACT CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION OF CAMERAS IN ALL STATE AND MUNICIPAL POLICE PATROL CARS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 528 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection to study, within available appropriations, the feasibility of installing a camera in each vehicle primarily used by a state or municipal police department as a patrol car.

Statement of Purpose: 

To determine the feasibility of installing cameras in all state and municipal patrol cars.
