AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN EARLIER START TO THE TROUT FISHING SEASON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to change the opening day for the inland waters trout fishing season from the third Saturday in April to the first Saturday in April.
Statement of Purpose:
To make the state more competitive with surrounding states for sport fishermen.
