AN ACT CONCERNING LOWER AND MIDDLE BOLTON LAKES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to restore the waters of the Middle and Lower Bolton Lakes in order to remediate the severe algae and aquatic plant infestation and to make corrective inter-lake drainage alterations, if necessary.

Statement of Purpose: 

To assist the towns of Bolton and Vernon with expertise in clearing the Bolton lakes of toxic algae and other invasive weeds and to evaluate and alter the inter-lake drainage system if necessary.
