AN ACT CONCERNING THE QUOTA ON COMMERCIAL FISHING LICENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to examine ways in which the pool of available licensures for commercial fishermen can be expanded to enable more persons to be eligible for licenses.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for a greater number of operators within the commercial fishing quotas.
