AN ACT CONCERNING THE OVERNIGHT TETHERING OF DOGS OUTSIDE UNDER CERTAIN WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prescribe conditions under which a dog may be tethered outside at night when the weather conditions are below freezing or above ninety degrees. 

Statement of Purpose: 

To prescribe the conditions under which the overnight tethering of a dog may occur if certain weather conditions exist.
