AN ACT CONCERNING AN OPTIONAL DONATION TO MEALS ON WHEELS MADE THROUGH THE INCOME TAX FORM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to add, on the state income tax form, an optional one-dollar donation to "Meals on Wheels".
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funds for a program serving a vulnerable population in a time of increased need.
