AN ACT CONCERNING NOTIFICATION OF NONPAYMENT OF PREMIUM FOR LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE POLICIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to specify, for long-term care insurance policies, the time period for and notification to be provided to insureds prior to the cancellation of such policies for nonpayment of premium.
Statement of Purpose:
To specify, for long-term care insurance policies, the time period for and notification to be provided to insureds prior to the cancellation of such policies for nonpayment of premium.
