AN ACT CONCERNING SENSITIVITY AND AWARENESS TRAINING FOR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipalities to enter into agreements with nonprofit domestic violence prevention organizations for the provision of sensitivity and awareness training to local law enforcement officials.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide low cost training to local law enforcement officers on issues of domestic violence prevention.
