AN ACT PROHIBITING PATIENT INTERVIEWS IN COMMON AREAS OF HEALTH CARE FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to prohibit hospitals and other health care facilities from allowing patients to be interviewed by staff members in common areas, such as the facility's waiting area.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the privacy of patients in hospitals and other health care facilities.
