WRIGHT E., 41st Dist. SEN. STILLMAN, 20th Dist. SEN. OSTEN, 19th Dist. AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR A HEALTHCARE FACILITY IN THE TOWN OF GRISWOLD. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate five million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Public Health for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the United Community and Family Services for construction of a healthcare facility in the town of Griswold. Statement of Purpose: To provide funds to cover the construction costs of a new healthcare facility in Griswold sponsored by United Community and Family Services, to provide greater access to dental and healthcare services.
