AN ACT CONCERNING THE TOWING AND TRANSPORTING OF MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-66 of the general statutes be amended to allow any person, firm or corporation that is not a motor vehicle dealer or repairer, and does not operate a dealer or repair facility, to engage in the business of operating a wrecker for the purpose of towing or transporting motor vehicles.
Statement of Purpose:
To remove certain restrictions prohibiting any person, firm or corporation from operating a towing or motor vehicle transportation business.
