AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TOLLS FOR THE EXTENSION OF ROUTE 11.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2013) The Department of Transportation is authorized to establish electronic tolls for purposes of funding construction of the extension of Route 11 from Salem to Interstate 95, provided, (1) such tolls shall only be located on the newly constructed extension, and (2) when all bonds issued for such construction have been retired, such tolls shall be discontinued.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To authorize the imposition of tolls on the extension of Route 11.
