AN ACT ALLOWING SMALL TOWN ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FUNDS TO BE USED TO ENHANCE SCHOOL SAFETY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow funds received through the Small Town Economic Assistance Program to be used to enhance school safety and security.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide more funding opportunities for school safety and security through STEAP grants.
