AN ACT CONCERNING CLARIFICATION OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF HEAD MODERATOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 146 of the general statutes be amended to clarify the responsibilities of the head moderator at polling places and to prevent a registrar of voters from assuming duties that really belong to the head moderator.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent a registrar of voters who is on the ballot from usurping authority from the head moderator and from intimidating other poll workers.
