AN ACT REQUIRING LANDLORDS TO DISTRIBUTE VOTER REGISTRATION CARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that when a landlord executes a lease with a new tenant, such landlord shall be required to provide such tenant with a voter registration card.
Statement of Purpose:
To help keep the list of registered voters as current as possible.
