AN ACT CONCERNING THE PAYMENT OF ALIMONY AND CHILD SUPPORT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 815j of the general statutes be amended to (1) enact reforms concerning the amount and durational limits of alimony awards entered in family matters, and (2) provide family court judges with the authority to establish child support trust accounts.
Statement of Purpose:
To enact reforms concerning the amount and durational limits of alimony awards entered in family matters and provide family court judges with the authority to establish child support trust accounts.
