AN ACT CONCERNING HOME INVASION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 53a-100aa of the general statutes be amended to define the crime of home invasion as having been committed when a person enters or remains unlawfully in an occupied dwelling with the intent to commit a crime therein.
Statement of Purpose:
To apply the penalty for home invasion to all persons who enter an occupied dwelling with the intent of committing a crime therein.
