AN ACT CONCERNING THE PREVAILING WAGE ON MUNICIPAL PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 31-53 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from prevailing wage requirements any new municipal construction project that is less than one million dollars and any municipal rehabilitation project that is less than five hundred thousand dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipalities to conduct construction and renovation projects at the lowest cost possible.
