AN ACT CONCERNING THE SUBJECT OF CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION COURSES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 20-10b of the general statutes be amended to provide that physicians who have taken one continuing medical education course in each of the required subject areas do not have to take additional courses in those subject areas to satisfy the continuing medical education requirements.

Statement of Purpose:

To remove the requirement that courses be taken in the same five mandated subject areas every two years once the physician has taken one course in each of the subject areas.
