AN ACT CONCERNING NUMBER PLATES FOR VETERANS AND MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO SERVED DURING TIME OF WAR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, at the request of any veteran or member of the armed forces who served during time of war, to issue a special certificate of registration and set of number plates reflecting the particular period of war during which such person served.
Statement of Purpose:
To honor veterans who served in time of war.
