AN ACT EXPANDING THE NEW HAVEN ENTERPRISE ZONE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 32-70 of the general statutes, concerning designation of enterprise zones by the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development, be amended to allow the enterprise zone in the city of New Haven to include the area surrounding the streets of Howard Avenue and Kimberly Avenue and the area surrounding Whalley Avenue.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for the inclusion of the area surrounding the streets of Howard Avenue and Kimberly Avenue, as well as the area surrounding Whalley Avenue, in the New Haven enterprise zone.
