AN ACT CONCERNING NOTIFICATION OF NONPAYMENT OF PREMIUM FOR LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE POLICIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to specify, for long-term care insurance policies, the time period for and notification to be provided to insureds and allow beneficiaries to be notified, prior to the cancellation of such policies for nonpayment of premium.
Statement of Purpose:
To specify, for long-term care insurance policies, the time period for and notification to be provided to insureds and allow beneficiaries to be notified, prior to the cancellation of such policies for nonpayment of premium.
