AN ACT CONCERNING THE FEASIBILITY OF REGIONALIZING EMERGENCY DISPATCH FUNCTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create and fund a study to determine the feasibility and cost savings associated with regionalizing fire, police and 9-1-1 dispatch functions.
Statement of Purpose:
To create and fund a study to investigate the potential benefits of having municipalities cooperate on public safety functions.
