AN ACT CONCERNING TRANSPARENCY OF EXPENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2013) Each constituent unit, as defined in section 10a-1 of the general statutes, shall (1) document every expenditure made by such constituent unit at the time such expenditure is made, and (2) make such documentation available for public inspection upon request in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, as defined in section 1-200 of the general statutes.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
