AN ACT CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION OF EPINEPHRINE TO CHILDREN IN SCHOOLS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 10-212a of the general statutes be amended to allow a school nurse to administer epinephrine to a student in an emergency situation when the school does not have a written order from the student's physician or other health care provider for the student to receive such medication. Statement of Purpose: To allow school nurses to administer epinephrine to children in the event of an emergency without a physician's order.
