AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FOR NON-PROFIT CONNECTICUT ELK LODGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipalities, at their option, to exempt any local Elks Lodge from the payment of real property taxes.
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize a local option property tax exemption for Elks lodges.
