AN ACT CONCERNING LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE RATE INCREASE REQUESTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require the Insurance Commissioner to approve long-term care insurance rate increase requests of greater than ten per cent and to conduct a public hearing on such request.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Insurance Commissioner to approve long-term care insurance rate increase requests of greater than ten per cent and to conduct a public hearing on such request.
