AN ACT CONCERNING CLOTHING DONATION BINS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require all clothing donation bins have prominent notice posted on them as to whether or not the owner or beneficiary of the bin is a tax exempt charitable organization.
Statement of Purpose:
To require charitable clothing donation bins to have notice on them if donations go to charity.
