AN ACT EXPANDING THE PHYSICIAN LICENSE FEE WAIVER TO RETIRED PHYSICIANS WHO PROVIDE SERVICES AT NO COST.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 20-10c of the general statutes be amended to extend the physician license renewal fee exemption to retired physicians who only provide health care services at no cost.
Statement of Purpose:
To remove financial impediments for retired physicians who perform pro bono work.
