AN ACT CONCERNING THE JEOPARDY TAX COLLECTION ON MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that a person who has previously been delinquent on a property tax payment for a motor vehicle may register their motor vehicle so long as their taxes are paid at the time of registration, and to further provide that such persons shall not be required to pay such property taxes in advance in order to register a motor vehicle.
Statement of Purpose:
To remove the jeopardy tax collection on motor vehicles.
