AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS FOR AUDITS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to change the statute of limitations for audits by the Department of Revenue Services from three years to two years.
Statement of Purpose:
To aid taxpayers in responding to DRS audits by making the time period for such audits shorter.
