AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCLUSION OF A CONNECTICUT RESIDENT AS A VOTING MEMBER ON THE BOARD OF THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that the Governor and the Commissioner of Transportation shall consult with the appropriate officials in New York to facilitate the appointment of a Connecticut resident as a voting member on the board of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Statement of Purpose:
To add a Connecticut resident to the board of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority as a voting member.
