AN ACT INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR REGIONAL COMMUNITY-TECHNICAL COLLEGES WITH MANUFACTURING PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the appropriation to any regional community-technical college with a manufacturing program be increased by six hundred thousand dollars, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014, to ensure that faculty who are assigned to the college's manufacturing program are assigned solely to such program.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure an adequate manufacturing workforce by enabling the regional community-technical colleges to have faculty dedicated solely to the colleges' manufacturing programs.
