AN ACT CONCERNING THE REDUCTION OF PHOSPHOROUS IN WATER SUPPLIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide for greater collaboration between the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and communities and to further authorize the use of third- party mediators to settle disputes and meetings between the parties on the subject of the reduction of phosphorous in water supplies.
Statement of Purpose:
To foster collaboration between municipalities and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection on the issue of reducing phosphorous in water supplies.
