AN ACT CONCERNING INTERVENTION IN PERMIT PROCEEDINGS PURSUANT TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT OF 1971.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 22a-19 of the general statutes be amended to require any person who intervenes in a proceeding and who is required to file a verified pleading to state with specificity the nature of the alleged pollution or destruction and disclose the legal entity funding such intervention.
Statement of Purpose:
To require persons intervening in certain matters to disclose the nature of any alleged environmental harm or pollution and the name of any legal entity who is funding such intervention.
