AN ACT CONCERNING PARTIAL REFUNDS FOR DAY CARE CENTER LICENSE FEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-80 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Public Health to refund fifty per cent of a day care center or group day care home license fee when the center or home closes within the first two years of the license period.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a refund of a portion of the license fee to child care centers that close before the expiration of the license period.
