AN ACT CONCERNING AN APPROPRIATION FOR VICTORY GARDENS IN NEWINGTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of two hundred thirty thousand dollars be appropriated to the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014, to fund case management services at Victory Gardens on the United States Department of Veterans Affairs' Newington Campus.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for case management services at Victory Gardens, a supportive housing project for homeless veterans and families at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs' Newington Campus.
