AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES AND OUT-OF-STATE PLACEMENT FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE PURVIEW OF SUCH AGENCY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Commissioner of Children and Families from placing a child outside of the state unless such child has been adjudicated delinquent and the child has been committed to said commissioner.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the authority of the Commissioner of Children and Families to place children out of state.
