AN ACT CREATING A MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID PROGRAM FOR PARENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to develop a mental health first aid program for parents to enable parents to better identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness.

Statement of Purpose: 

To create a program that would help parents whose children exhibit mental health issues.
