Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require that when siting a state agency facility in a municipality with a population greater than one hundred thousand, the state shall first consider locations in the central business district of that municipality if the municipality has adopted an ordinance requiring such consideration or siting. Statement of Purpose: To encourage the state to site state agency facilities in the central business districts of large municipalities.
