AN ACT CONCERNING A BEST PRACTICES GUIDE FOR COASTAL STRUCTURES AND PERMITTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than October 1, 2013, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection shall consult with environmental protection and planning and development agencies in other coastal states and the federal government to acquire information relevant to the development of a best practices guide for coastal structures permitting.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require the accumulation of information from the federal government and environmental protection and planning and development agencies in other coastal states that could be used to develop a best practices guide for coastal structures permitting.
