AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF FEDERAL FUNDS FOR THE SHELTERING OF LOST ANIMALS FOLLOWING SEVERE WEATHER EMERGENCIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to provide that municipal expenses related to the sheltering of lost animals following a severe weather emergency be deemed a reimbursable cost for the purpose of distributing federal funds received in connection with such a severe weather emergency. Statement of Purpose: To reimburse towns for the cost of sheltering lost animals following severe weather emergencies.
