AN ACT CONCERNING UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2014) The joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to labor and public employees shall conduct a study to evaluate the effectiveness of the current unemployment compensation system within the state. The committee shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of the study to the General Assembly on or before February 1, 2015.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To conduct a study to evaluate the current unemployment compensation system in the state.
