AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR PAYMENTS TO TOWNS IN LIEU OF TAXES ON REAL PROPERTY OF PRIVATE COLLEGES, GENERAL HOSPITALS, CHRONIC DISEASE HOSPITALS AND CERTAIN URGENT CARE FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require full funding of payments to towns in lieu of taxes on real property of private colleges, general hospitals, chronic disease hospitals and certain urgent care facilities located in such towns.
Statement of Purpose:
To fully fund payments in lieu of taxes to towns in which private colleges, general hospitals, chronic disease hospitals and certain urgent care facilities are located.
