AN ACT CONCERNING A TAX CREDIT FOR LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish an income tax credit for an individual or company that purchases an individual or group long-term care insurance policy that provides benefits for care in an insured's home.

Statement of Purpose: 

To provide an income tax credit incentive for the purchase of long-term care insurance that provides benefits for care in an insured's home.
