AN ACT REPEALING THE CONDITIONS THAT LIMIT THE APPROVAL OF NEW CHARTER SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subdivision (2) of subsection (f) of section 10-66bb of the general statutes be amended to repeal the conditions on which the Commissioner of Education may approve a new charter school.
Statement of Purpose:
To repeal the conditions that limit the Commissioner of Education's authority to grant charters for new charter schools.
