AN ACT CONCERNING WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSURANCE AND ROOF-MOUNTED SOLAR PANELS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to reduce workers' compensation insurance rates in the solar panel industry and to exempt companies providing roof-mounted solar panel services from the general licensing requirements imposed on companies that provide traditional roofing services.
Statement of Purpose:
To lessen the workers' compensation insurance burden for roof-mounted solar panel service providers and to exempt such providers from the general licensing requirements imposed on companies that provide traditional roofing services.
