AN ACT STREAMLINING THE MUNICIPAL CHARTER REVISION PROCESS FOR CERTAIN TECHNICAL CHANGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 7-191 of the general statutes be amended to create a process for minor and technical changes to be made to a town's charter without having to subject the charter to a full review.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow technical changes to be made to town charters without exposing the entire charter to substantive changes.
