AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEFINITION OF AGRICULTURE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to expand the definition of the term "agriculture" to include agri-tourism, the display of antique vehicles and equipment, retail sales, tours, classes, the viewing and petting of animals, hay rides, crop mazes, festivals and other special events.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide flexibility to property owners who sold development rights to the state.
