AN ACT REQUIRING SEAT BELTS IN NEWLY PURCHASED SCHOOL BUSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 248 of the general statutes be amended to require each school bus purchased for use in the state be equipped with seat safety belts installed by the manufacturer.
Statement of Purpose:
To make school bus transportation safer.
